The drug development process is time consuming and expensive with low success rates at every stages from basic research, preclinical study to clinical trials. New technology is needed to improve the efficiency of the process. The integration of imaging into the discovery and development will accelerate the process by prioritizing the efforts on most efficient directions.

Theramix is creating a platform that integrates molecular imaging, diagnosis and therapy. This platform will help significantly reduce the cost and time on the development of therapeutics. The new integrated system (shown as green in the figure) will greatly improve the success rates particularly in the later stages of clinical development, which are usually the most expensive and time consuming in the drug development. It will also ensure the selection of highly efficient therapy, and help to quickly translate imaging techniques for diagnosis that will personalize the therapy.
